Obituary for Margaret Kelley (Goggin)

Margaret Mayes Goggin Kelley, 97, of Crofton, Maryland passed away on Wednesday, February 1, 2017 at the Hospice of the Chesapeak, Pasadena, MD. Born January 7th, 1920 in New York City, NY, she was the daughter of the late Lillie Belle Allen and Joseph Paul Goggin. Margaret was a member of Presbyterian Church of the Falling Spring in Chambersburg PA. She married Erlow C. Kelley, a Captain in US. Army Air Corps during World War II. Margaret and Erlow enjoyed more than 60 years of marriage; always together they traveled extensively throughout both the U.S. and Europe. She was preceded in death by her husband, Erlow; daughter Margaret (Peggy) Ankerbrand and son, Michael E. Kelley; two brothers and two sisters. Margaret is survived by her youngest daughter, Maureen Kelley Weller, of Crofton MD and numerous grandchildren, great and great-great granchilren. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, February 10th, at the William F. Sellers Funeral Home with the Rev. Andrew Hart and Rev. Dr. William H. Harter officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations may made to Guiding Eyes for the Blind, 611 Granite Springs Rd.,Yorktown Heights, NY 0598 or Hospice of the Chesapeak, John and Cathy Belcher Campus, Philanthropy Department, 90 Ritchie Highway, Pasadena, MD. 21122 (Both can also be done online.)
