Obituary for Barbara Jean McClure (Boyer)

She was born December 21, 1944 in Cumberland, Maryland, the daughter of the late Samuel W. and Bertha Helen (Mayhew) Boyer. She had been a member of Grace United Church in Greencastle. Barbara worked as a presser at Stanley, a nurse's aide for Beverly Healthcare and at Home Healthcare for Mountain Valley. She was a member of Moose Lodge #842, the Marine Corps League, Burtt J. Asper American Legion and the Vietnam Club of Chambersburg. She enjoyed camping and reading, especially Stephen King. Survivng are: her son Timothy (Charlotte) Test of Gettysburg, daughter Carolyn C. Schopen of Wisconsin; grandchildren: Sariah, Melissa, Dillion, Jason, Timothy Jr, Justine, Vincent, and Cameron; sisters: Helen Curran, Patty Jenkins, Linda Forsythe, and Debbie Whaley. In addition to her husband, Kenneth McClure, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Cheryl Geyer; sisters: Violet Timbrook, Nina Boyer, Lena Smith, Margaret Ross; three brothers: Alan, Gary and Roger Alan Boyer.
A Memorial service will be 1:00 PM, Friday, April 6, 2018 at William F. Sellers Funeral Home. Burial will be in Parklawns Memorial Gardens.
